On October 25, two days before Israel’s October 27 election, Benjamin Netanyahu shared on X an activist’s post with an AI image of a nuclear blast over Tel Aviv. Opposition leader Gadi Eisenkot called him ‘hysterical’. Newsmax’s headline has one actor and two verbs. Netanyahu “Posts” and “Warns”, and the warning arrives as a capitalized “Second Holocaust” with no source, no number and no date. Its own second paragraph says the words were a right-wing commentator’s and the picture AI-generated; its fourth paragraph carries Eisenkot’s reply. The headline keeps the bomb and drops the answer: one post, quoted as the whole news, in the prime minister’s voice. This is doom with one exit. The shared line says “nothing else will matter anymore” and leaves the reader only loss to weigh: what you will lose, never what you would gain, the threat to everything you already have. The facts beside it come from Netanyahu himself. In June 2025 he said he had removed the threat of annihilation by nuclear weapons; on October 13 he said “we eliminated the nuclear program”. Israel Hayom adds the IAEA estimate that Iran still holds about 440 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60%. The tell is a catastrophe with no date and no one able to stop it except the account sharing it. The Times of Israel reports that IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir reportedly saw no operational need to strike Iran before the vote; Eisenkot told KAN he saw no immediate, direct threat. Channel 13’s final poll gives Likud 19 seats to Yashar’s 22. The Sydney Morning Herald’s “Desperate” gets the same eyes: a mind read from the other direction.
