Three days after the White House said “the illegal alien invasion is over”, DHS was warning a caravan that the border is “SEALED SHUT”. 32 days before the midterms. Three days, two messages from one government. On Friday, September 25, the White House said “the illegal alien invasion is over”. On Monday, September 28, DHS said “Biden’s disastrous open border policy has been SEALED SHUT”, and the White House told the caravan “you will not be allowed into our country”. Between them, on Saturday, September 26, DHS announced a “surge in sanctuary cities”. The caravan left San Pedro Sula on September 20, 44 days before the vote. The volume is measurable. Fox led the coverage, and the photo atop its September 28 story is captioned as a Reuters photo from “Oct. 1, 2025”, a year before this group set out. Newsweek counted more than 600 people that day. On September 30, DHS’s “Worst of the Worst” site passed 40,000 names. Critics read the same calendar: Greene asked “why now?”, Media Matters called it a “playbook”, and Rolling Stone headlined a caravan found “Just in Time for the Midterms”. The calendar shows timing and volume. It cannot show intent, for the officials or for their critics. Other evidence could: internal schedules for the releases, DHS warnings to earlier caravans in months with no midterms, and whether the warnings stop once the votes are counted. A test exists from 2018. For 2026, the first answer arrives on November 4.
